Team
Alexander From joined Impilo in 2022. He holds a M.Sc. in Finance from Aarhus University. During his studies he also did an exchange program at National University of Singapore.
Prior to joining Impilo, Alexander worked at FIH Partners based in Copenhagen. While at FIH Partners he was involved in several transactions in the healthcare sector.
Carolina Oscarius Dahl joined Impilo in 2023. Carolina graduated with an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics in 2008, with a major in Accounting and Finance.
Prior to joining Impilo, Carolina was an Investment Director at Interogo Holding Long-term Equity (2020-2022). From 2016 to 2020, Carolina worked at Nordstjernan and served on the boards of companies within the healthcare sector. Carolina started her career at McKinsey & Company (2008-2016).
Edvard Hubendick joined Impilo in 2019. After studying one year in the US, Edvard graduated with an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University in 2017 having minored in signal theory and majored in strategy.
Prior to joining Impilo, Edvard worked as an associate with McKinsey & Company in Stockholm. Edvard focused roughly half of his time at McKinsey within healthcare and adjacent industries.
Frederikke Beck joined Impilo in 2023. Frederikke holds a M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School, where she had one exchange semester at National University of Singapore.
Prior to joining Impilo, Frederikke spent two years at Polaris, another Nordic based Private Equity fund. Before joining Polaris Frederikke spent 3 years at KIRKBI, the LEGO family office, and one year at the Nordic M&A team of J.P. Morgan in London.
Fredrik Odin joined Impilo in 2017. Fredrik graduated with an M.Sc in Finance from the London School of Economics and holds a B.Sc in Economics, Politics and International Relations from the University of Warwick. Fredrik is also a graduate of the Swedish Army Language School.
Prior to joining Impilo, Fredrik was an Investment Executive at XIO Group in London. From 2013 to 2015 Fredrik worked as an analyst in the Nordic M&A team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Fredrik Strömholm joined Impilo in 2016 and is chairman of the investment committee. Fredrik graduated with an M.Sc. in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in 1989, with a major in finance from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in France.
Prior to founding Impilo, Fredrik was a partner at Altor, a firm he co-founded in 2003. 1989-1996 and 1999-2002 Fredrik worked at Goldman Sachs International, the last period as managing director responsible for corporate finance.
Gustav Jungdalen Lundgren joined Impilo in 2017. Gustav graduated with a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in 2012, with a major in finance and accounting.
Prior to joining Impilo, Gustav was a partner at ABG Sundal Collier, a Nordic investment bank, where he worked within the investment banking division in Stockholm since graduation in 2012 and became a partner in 2016.
Henrik Nielsen joined Impilo in 2021. He holds a M.Sc. in Economics from University of Copenhagen and a B.Sc. in Economics from Aarhus University. During his studies he also did an exchange program at Columbia University.
Prior to joining Impilo, Henrik was a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group based in Stockholm and Copenhagen, where he was part of BCG’s Scandinavian Principal Investors and Private Equity team for two years.
Jeanette joined Impilo in October 2017. Prior to Impilo, Jeanette worked as an executive assistant at Ernst & Young for 13 years. Jeanette also worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and several other organizations in finance and office administration.
Jesper Eliasson joined Impilo in 2016 and is member of the firm’s investment committtee. Jesper has a B.Sc. (Econ.) in Business Administration and Economics, with advanced studies in Finance (Civilekonomexamen) at Stockholm University in 1996.
Prior to founding Impilo, Jesper was CFO at Altor Equity Partners from 2003 to 2016 (and a partner 2012 – 2015). Jesper worked at Industri Kapital (now IK Investment Partners) between 1996 and 2003, both in Stockholm and London.
Johan Kårestedt joined Impilo in 2024. He holds a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, with a major in finance and accounting.
Prior to joining Impilo, Johan was an Associate at McKinsey & Company in Stockholm.
Mads Bork Jepsen joined Impilo in 2024. He is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Economics at the University of Copenhagen. During his studies, he has also done an exchange semester at UC Berkeley.
Prior to joining Impilo, Mads worked as a student assistant at McKinsey & Company, where he mainly worked with healthcare private equity. He has also worked as a teaching assistant in microeconomics at the University of Copenhagen
Magnus Edlund joined Impilo in 2017 and is member of the firm’s investment committee. Magnus graduated with an M.Sc in Industrial Management & Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in 2003.
Prior to joining Impilo, Magnus was a Director at Altor where he worked between 2009 and 2017. Before joining Altor, Magnus worked at BCG based out of Stockholm and London (2004-2009).
Malin Sundqvist joined Impilo in 2023. Malin graduated with a M.Sc. in Business Administration and Economics from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, with a major in Innovation and Industrial Management and an exchange semester at Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
Prior to joining Impilo, Malin was a consultant at KPMG’s Transaction Services in Stockholm, where she worked since 2014 focusing on financial due diligence.
Marcus Kiviharju joined Impilo in 2024. Marcus holds a B.Sc. in Business & Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, where he is also pursuing an M.Sc. in Accounting, Valuation & Financial Management. During his B.Sc., he has also done an exchange semester at EDHEC Business School in France.
Prior to joining Impilo, Marcus most recently spent time at Augment Partners and Coeli.
Martin Fagerlund joined Impilo in 2019 and is member of the firm’s investment committee. Martin graduated with a LL.M in Law and a B.B.A in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University in 2006.
Prior to joining Impilo, Martin worked as a lawyer at Mannheimer Swartling between 2006-2015 (with secondments at Altor Equity Partners and Ericsson’s M&A Department). He also successfully co-founded a boutique business law firm specializing in M&A and investments between 2016-2018.
Matilda Hessedahl joined Impilo in 2021. She holds a M.Sc. of Finance from Stockholm School of Economics and a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from Stockholm School of Economics.
Prior to joining Impilo, Matilda was a consultant at Boston Consulting Group based in Stockholm. At BCG, she was part of BCG’s Scandinavian Principal Investors & Private Equity team and Healthcare team for 2 years.
Muhamet Rrahmani joined Impilo in 2024. Muhamet is currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Business & Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics, majoring in Finance and Accounting. During his studies, he has also done an exchange semester at the Singapore Management University.
Prior joining Impilo, Muhamet most recently spent time at MCF Corporate Finance.
Nicholas Hooge joined Impilo in 2020 and is a member of the firm’s investment committee. Nicholas graduated with an M.Sc in Business Administration and Management Science from Copenhagen Business School in 2004.
Prior to joining Impilo, Nicholas was a Senior Director at EQT where he worked from 2006 to 2019 based in Copenhagen and New York. From 2004-2006 Nicholas worked for Deutsche Bank’s Nordic M&A team in London.
Olga Court-Payen joined Impilo in 2023. Olga holds a M.Sc. in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School, where she had one exchange semester at ESSEC Business School in Paris.
Prior to joining Impilo, Olga spent two years at Polaris, another Nordic based Private Equity fund, and before that, one year at Carnegie Investment Bank based in Copenhagen.
Paula Johansson joined Impilo in 2022. Paula holds a M.D. from Karolinska Institute and a B.Sc. from Stockholm School of Economics.
Samuel Lindström joined Impilo in 2024. Samuel holds a B.Sc. in Business & Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. During his studies, he has also done an exchange semester at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
Prior to joining Impilo, Samuel most recently spent time at Carnegie Investment Bank, Moody’s Investors Service and Handelsbanken, primarily focusing on corporate finance.
Victor Steien joined Impilo in 2018. Victor graduated with an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics in 2008, with a major in Finance.
Prior to joining Impilo, Victor spent ten years in Investment Banking – from 2008 to 2014 at Goldman Sachs in London and from 2014 to 2018 at Morgan Stanley as Executive Director in Stockholm primarily focusing on M&A execution and corporate finance in the Nordic region.
